Argo UML employs the BSD license and it works in Java.

Class, deployment, sequence, collaboration, activity. use case, state chart: these are only some features you will fine in ArgoUML. It has been offered, even if it is in its preliminary phase, the code generation and a feature of reverse engineering. Clearly you will have even the possibility to print and to export all the documents that you will be able to save in different extensions: starting from .gif to .svg and many others. The application will also provide a wizard to help you to improve your job and you will also have the possibility to create a to-do list.

In order to employ ArgoUML it is necessary to install a Java Virtual Machine on your personal computer. The application, with a jar, it’s executed by the control line.
