CDex is an application which will allow you to pass all your audio tracks from your compact disc to your personal computer in an easy and free way.

Talking about compact discs, you could meet two kind of persons: the ones who have been converted to the .mp3 logics and the ones who, on the contrary, keep on cultivating their passion for the compact discs collection.

But even who is included in this second group, instead, could be in need to save a copy of their favourite compact discs on their own personal computer: this is the only one way to listen to them on their own mobile players. So we could tell the every music lover requires an application which helps him to move the audio tracks from a compact disc to the personal computer, an application such as CDex.

CDex is an application which provides an ordinary operation named ripping.

That is to say that it allows to pass the audio tracks from a compact disc to the personal computer with the possibility to choose the output format (.mp3 or .wav). And we have to say that for this kind of operations there are no similar applications, it is an open source software completely quick and efficient.

CDex has different features. Right from the start we have to say that you will be able to operate on the output file improving its audio quality, correcting it through jitter or through some options conceived for the sound normalization. Thanks to CDex you will be able even to create playlists or to decide to integrate it with another converter. It is an application in Italian language and that, if you have an internet connection, will provide to automatically insert the data related to each transported file (album, title, author, music genre).

CDex requires one of the following operating systems: Windows 95/98/ 98 SE/ME/2000/NT/XP/Vista.
