GIMP Portable is an application conceived for photographic retouch which is extensible through different plug-ins, it is for free and it could be saved on every kind of mobile device. It doesn’t require the installation.

GIMP Portable is a light edition of a very popular application which is dedicated to the photographic retouch. The main benefits you will find in this application are two: the fat you could save it on every usb pen drive and its interface and features which recall the most popular application Adobe Photoshop.

GIMP Portable could be useful for all those users who will have a great application to manipulate their personal photo shots. Saving it on a usb pen drive or on the memory of your digital camera you will have the possibility to manipulate your photographs through every personal computer, wherever you are. It was conceived just to be saved on every kind of mobile device, such as an external hard-disk or another kind of portable memory. The only one condition is that you have at least 64 MB of free space on your mobile memory.

The fact this is an application dedicated to the “moving photographers” it doesn’t mean GIMP Portable is an incomplete application. Inside it you will find all the necessary features to act on colours, contrast, brightness, channels and levels. It is also included the possibility to create GIF animations. The only one limit is characterized by the different installing steps and a particularly slow start.


GIMP Portable requires one of the following operating systems: Windows 98/98 SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista.
