Pop-up Stopper is not as the other software of the same category. Differently from these one it block the pop-ups without you must create a list of sites and without that it’s necessary setting the proxy. Pop-ups will be automatically blocked following your address settings. In any moment, instead, you will be able to decide to access the content of pop-ups only clicking on the right icon (on the application’s bar).

Other functions offered by Pop-up Stopper are the customization of some features as the alert sound of the block, text colour, mouse indicator when a window has stopped. Downloading the free version you will find a user’s handbook too which will help you on the first steps, an automatic up-dater and an anti-spyware.

Pop-up Stopper is made by Panicware, an expert in the privacy field and net security. The software is downloadable in two different versions: the first one is the Free Edition, that requires Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and adapted to the integration with Explorer, Mozilla and Netscape; the second one is the Professional version, that holds the same characteristics of the Free Versions but allows the interaction with the instant-messaging applications too (msn, opera, WMConnect, Yahoo, Aol).
