Sharepod is the application which will make you not depending from iTunes and will give much more freedom to transfer your multimedia files from iPod and your Windows operating system (or the contrary).

If you have an iPod today it means that you have a small sized jewel on your hands, which offers to you an astonishing design and the possibility to have your favourite music with you always. Which are the limits of this small device? Just as an example the fact it depends from iTunes, which doesn’t allow you any kind of exchange or transfer of multimedia files between it and your personal computer if you don’t install it on your operating system. For Macintosh owners this problem was resolved thanks to a software called Senuti.

And for the Windows’ owners? The answer is Sharepod.

Sharepod is a very simple software with a very beautiful graphic which will allow you to easily move your multimedia files from your iPod to your personal computer (or the contrary). If you want to use it it is not necessary to install it.

Sharepod will display all the multimedia files stored in your iPod as you connect it to your personal computer. So it will allow you to move your multimedia files to it; but that’s not all. You will be able to make a backup copy of your iPod, then you will find a small integrated search engine so that you will be able to listen to what is store in your iPod even if it is not connected to your personal computer. Therefore it is possible that you face many complications. Due to the technology evolutions Sharepod is not compatible with all the iPod products. Anyway this application is for free and we suggest to you to try it most of all considering that it is included a restore feature which will make you sure about every unintentional cancelling or damaging of the content of your iPod.
